The Nal'ibali Trust
Education and Development
Nal’ibali (isiXhosa for “here’s the story”) is a national reading-for-enjoyment campaign. It seeks to spark and embed a culture of reading in children from birth to 12 years of age, across SA.
The Nal'ibali Trust
Founded in 2012, Nal'ibali is a national reading-for-enjoyment campaign that promotes early literacy through storytelling, training, and access to multilingual reading materials. By working in homes, schools, and communities, we equip caregivers, educators, and community leaders to cultivate a culture of reading from birth.
